I emailed you… filled your claims… caught your tweets…
Yet i see you still distribute all my work and the work of my peers freely like we don't matter.
We try to make a living here, and of course we deal with the occasional pirate here and there, but you?

Wow… +HTC, that "developer" is a disgrace to the word and you guys as a company allowing this puts you in an even lower category in my opinion… There are at least 5 real devs I can spot by scrolling just for a few seconds on there that are affected by this scammer…

totally sucks. HTC lost my business a long time ago, and they lost any respect i had for them when i reported this a couple of weeks ago.stealing and distributing others work is never acceptable, but it usually is just some chump with nothing better to do, this is a giant corporation that could possibly reuse your work in ads, their themes, and possibly make money off of others work. not sure why you didn't hear about this til now, i tried to contact as many devs and themers i knew to report this and stop HTC from stealing other's work.
+Thebear Koss i emailed them and gave them at least a month to respond before speaking out publicly. That why i waited… in the hopes i could solve this for everyone by having them ban that user. But behold they did not bother contacting me back.
So here we are, maybe someone out there can help… because this is just wrong.
+Tha PHLASH you may have to tag them on Instagram and Twitter… They might not be able to afford a marketing team to support G+ too ??

It even went kind of "popular" for a few days in gplus, since a lot of us affected were spreading the message, but +HTC just don't wanna do anything about it.
Sad for a company that could be really great, and it's going down (because they want to)
+Tha PHLASH got ya. +Andrew Quebe originally had made contact thru twitter but they also never replied back after initial response was made.then +Jeff McIntire found the proper forms and all. the worst part is there is no way for users to report or do anything about it. i was told in not so many words, that it isn't my work, so it's none of my business. i would think maybe going thru google may be the best method for you guys. i wish there was more i could do, but it seems that HTC only gives a shit about themselves and their dropping like flies users….

Also may I recommend sending the people uploading your apps a Cease and Desist letter, A template can be found online. Send it to HTC and any hosting provider related to the developer and their e-mail provider. They have to legally respond.
It might be worth contacting some of the Android-related news websites like Android Police, Android Central, etc. and see if they can run a news story.
HTC are probably more likely to respond to something that would give them bad press?

+Alex Hernandez thanks to you guys over at Techaeris for taking on this bs and helping out. saying it is not HTC's problem is absolutely ridiculous. if it is on their site (last I checked the theme store is part of the HTC website) than they are accountable. if i went into any community here on g+ and shared people's work, the community owner or moderator is responsible for taking it down. it is just a lazy, crappy company who doesn't want to be bothered because they are flailing just to survive the year…
HTCs been slipping for quite a while, they probably, and unfortunately, don't even care at this point. It's a damn shame too, because they used to be the best (at least in my opinion) Android OEM. The Evo 4G was nothing short of great.
But now? They're circling the drain.
