Load your own music.
The radio comes ready to play, but changing the music is easy when you want to make it more personal.
The music is stored on a removable microSD card inside the radio. You only need to open the rear panel when you want to change the music.
Back to the radio
Unplug the radio first.
Disconnect the radio from its power supply before opening the rear panel or removing the microSD card.
You do not need to touch, unplug or modify any of the electronics inside. The only component you need to handle is the microSD card.
Remove the rear panel.
Make sure the radio is unplugged, then remove the screws holding the rear panel in place.
Carefully lift the rear panel away and set it aside with the screws.
There is no reason to remove or disconnect anything else inside the radio.
Press, release, remove.
Locate the microSD card in the metal card slot shown in the close-up photo.
Press the microSD card gently inward until you feel a click, then release it. The card will spring outward far enough for you to carefully pull it from the slot.
Handle the card by its edges and avoid touching the surrounding electronics.
Add your music.
Use a microSD card reader or SD adapter to connect the card to your computer.
Music card guidelines.
A simple card layout gives the radio the most reliable and predictable operation.
Use MP3 music files.
Standard MP3 files provide the best compatibility with the radio.
Put songs directly on the card.
Keep the music in the main directory of the microSD card rather than organizing songs into folders.
Up to 2,000 songs recommended.
Larger collections may work, but keeping the library to approximately 2,000 songs or fewer is recommended.
Conventional MP3s work best.
If a particular song is skipped or does not play, try converting it to a standard MP3 file and copying it back to the card.
Using the original supplied microSD card? There is no need to reformat it. Simply add, remove or replace the music files.
Reinstall the microSD card.
Your radio, your music.
Familiar songs can make the radio far more personal. Add music that matters to the person listening, reinstall the card, and the radio remains just as simple to use as before.
