This 3D print is made from a plastic called PLA (polylactic acid). PLA is an excellent material for 3d printing because it looks good but can be more brittle than other types plastics. Be aware that this item can break if mistreated or thrown.

Also note that its sensitive to UV rays and heat exposure over 60°C / 140°F Warping is possible when left in the sun for long periods. For example its not suitable for hot cars on crazy summer days.
