Tha Pointer icons

Inspired by Map pointers refers to some general symbols to spot a location on a map.
Maps have been around for thousands of years; a clay tablet depicting an area of ancient Babylon that was dated to 6200BC used to be regarded as the earliest known map until a cave painting in Turkey that was dated back to 6297BC was discovered at a site near Ankara, Turkey.
Gerardus Mercator invented the Mercator projection in 1569. This became the standard map and is what we base our current maps on its the map that is sliced up at the north and south poles.
