6. If we were able to get transparency effects like this in actual launchers it would be really awesome. Right now we can really only get alpha transparency applied to the entire icon, or pure transparency applied to specified sections. 
   If we could figure out ways to do this, it would be really nice, but would likely require a heavy toll on battery life due to constant calculation with the background (which for some are live backgrounds).

7. Wat do you mean by 'in launcher'?
